Flora & Legacy Necklace
At the center of this necklace sits a Roman Republican silver denarius, struck in 57 BC by the gens Servilia — nearly two thousand years old, and still turning. A custom swivel setting lets it rotate a full half-circle, so either face can look outward: Flora, goddess of spring and renewal, on one side; the Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux, standing together in protection on the other. Nurture facing out one day, strength the next — the wearer decides.
The coin sits in 18-carat yellow gold, hand-set by our goldsmiths in Florence. One face is framed in brilliant-cut diamonds; the reverse, quieter, all gold. It hangs from our Eclipse Mini chain — pure titanium, Dark Luster finish, in the same fine Cuban link construction — light against the weight of the gold and the age of the silver.
